Lots of things to discuss in this section. You will learn how to find the center of mass (centroid) of lines, planes, and volumes. Both the composite and integration methods will used to find the centroids.

Then we'll switch gears and we'll learn about distributed loads. A distributed load is just a load that isn't concentrated at a single point like the forces we dealt with so far. We will use centroids to find the location where we can apply the total force of the distribution to one point.
